The Outsiders live up to their name by flatly refusing to
work within the expected constraints of international law and propriety. The
current version of the team is committed to taking proactive action-squashing
meta-human and alien threats before they even have the chance to become
threats! The original Outsiders included Black Lightning , Metamorpho , Looker
, Halo , and the Markovian noble Geo-Force. Based in Gotham City and backed
financially by Bruce Wayne , the hero team were an outgrowth of Batman’s
frustration with the political constraints under which the Justice League of
America were forced to operate.
